Nice homestay. Spent a quality time with my friends walking around Mekanagadde village. Spectacular view of Shishila gudda was awesome. Best homestay for group of 10 – 15 Members. Ask for a jeep ride , really interesting.
We visited as a family of 8 members and 2 kids … everyone enjoyed the trip. The home stay is at a gifted location with spectacular views well within the lap of nature. Well couldnt have expected anything better…amazing location with the view of valley till horizon. nice food.
If you are looking for an escape from the bustle of India, this is it! I can highly recommend this wonderful homestay in Chikmagalur. Located in the most beautiful Chikmagalur district, surrounded by hills, It is a wonderful stay, with excellent food in the most peaceful surroundings.
We had a good stay. The location is very good. The appearance was also quite good. Service is good. Food was super tasty. Overall nice palce.
It is a lovely guesthouse away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Helpful owner, basic but clean rooms, lovely pets around the house, nice pond in coffee estate and good price make Mekanagadde Homestay a great place to stay for those looking for a quiet accommodation or those, who simply don’t like staying in huge, noisy cities like Bangalore. Very much recommended.
Me with my office mates had been to this homestay. Had a wonderful trekking to Ettina Bhuja early morning for sunrise, took photos. Hosts were nice, the stay was good and the non-veg food was simply superb. I recommend this Mekanagadde homestay for all.
We stayed there for three days back in March 2015. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place if someone is planning to stay in homestay.
We stayed here back in 2009, again in 2016. Perfect location, clean rooms, great owner! If you want to visit Chikmagalur this is your place, a very relax place! Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast to start the day! Thanks for everything & you have a wonderful homestay!

We love it! The Wilds at Mekanagadde is a must see, visit, stay place in Chikmagalur! The place is well-kept and very serene, hospitality is tops – thanks to the warm welcome of Prasanna. They will make sure you are comfortable and attended to. They anticipate your needs and has taken good care of me and my family. I highly recommend this place and we are definitely coming back!
It was our first experience in a homestay and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit. The food was freshly cooked and served. The rooms are neat and clean. A homely feel while staying in the lap of nature with all the comforts. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two days on a visit to Dharmasthala Temple(from Bangalore). We had a splendid time and were really inspired by the property and maintained as well as by the charming hosts themselves. The food was extremely tasty and healthy – we all loved it me, my husband, as well as my cousins totally 8 members who were travelling with us. The scenery en route as well as around the property itself was breathtaking. The rooms and house was classic and it was a joy to stay there. We enjoyed nice long walks in the evening and went on a hike the mornings as well. This is definitely a warm and welcoming place – one that we would love to come back to again.
We spent a very nice time being here. The hospitality is too good. If you are planning for family it’s a best homestay. we felt very safe and comfort. Food is also nice. I recommended to several people after I visited.

This is great place for a family or friends gathering. Entire place was available and that gave complete privacy. Five couples with 4 kids had gone for two night stay. We went in February month. The hospitality was very good. The rooms were neat and clean. Awesome view, Beautiful house, great hospitality and yummy food. Would give this place 10/10. Perfect for families.
Mekanagadde Homestay is awesome cozy place in the lap of the nature. Nature at it’s best with friendly host and good food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was good, had bonfire in evening and couple of activities as well. Overall a beautiful and serene place to spend time away from the city if you want to connect with nature.

Had very good experience at this property. They helped us with all the small details and how to explore. Maintenance is very neat and clean. The main highlights are:
1. Nice Location
2. Tasty and homely food
3. The owner was friendly and took extra effort to take us to Sunset point. Very humble and nice gentleman.
4. Excellent staff Mr. Vinay and other staff.
5. Places to visit are nearby and approachable roads
Don’t forget to wakeup for sunrise!
